APRIL FOOLS NEWS

Brazilian Claudio Pinto hopes to secure a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records with his boggling ability to pop his eyeballs out of their sockets at least
7 millileters. Globe luxation, also known as eye-popping, could become the
newest rage.

In southeastern Idaho, Washington state and elsewhere, fans of Pintos sponsored a contest to see how many could pop their own eyeballs out. There have been a surprisingly large number of participants. Even more were prepared for the grant finale, which concluded March 31, 2008.

Several local yokels tossed their eyeballs into the arena with surprising results.First place went to our own Melissa Crockett, a local resident.

In the post win interview, Crockett said it took a lot of practice. It is very much like learning to ice skate. There are a lot of falls before you can perfect your skills. In order to do a triple-lux, I have to flex my eyeballs 30 times everyday and at the same time turn them inside out, wash them off and turn them right side out again. I do this in front of a mirror so that I can measure to see how close I am getting to Pinto's record of 7 milliliters. So far I can only get them big enough so that they don’t look so beady, but my nieces and nephew are much more flexible than I am.

They have twirled them round and round and then crossed them for 30 minutes a day, and they also sit too close to the TV. After practice for 2 or 3 days, they can play catch with each others eyeballs from across the room.

Crocketts proud mother, Jane Simonson says that sometimes the grandkids get carried away and try to play baseball or football, but have to be stopped because, quote “these are the only eyes you’ll ever have. You’ve got to take care of them.”

I love you my little man.

A p r i l F o o l !!!"

Malaya said, "Grandma, you have a strawberry in your eye."

Maddie tricked me by having her mom say that she was still at school and it was almost 7pm her time. At first I was so disappointed, but then she said "April Fool!" She sure pulled a good one on me. What a joker!

Michael stuck out his tongue
and it had food on it, so he had to be punished!
